Regulations at the concert
The following are strictly prohibited at the Newburgh Jazz Series site:
- Bicycles are not allowed on the grass or boardwalk.
- Blankets and ground tarps may not exceed 6'x8'. Inserting stakes, poles, or any other objects into the ground is prohibited.
- Video and audio recording equipment is strictly prohibited.
- No unauthorized vending.
- Weapons, illicit drugs, and other contraband are strictly prohibited.
Newburgh Jazz Series management reserves the right to deny entry or remove anyone in violation of these polices. Bags and vehicles may be subject to search.
Frequently asked questions
We do NOT have wheelchairs available. There is a handicap accessible parking area available by concert area. There are also accessible restrooms. This is a first come first serve event, therefore there are no reserved wheelchair spaces. Please note: the Newburgh Jazz Series does not provide personal care, golf cart rides, or push service. Please bring attendants, if needed.
What do I do in the event of an emergency?
The first aid station will be available at The Wand. There will be volunteers available to assist with minor emergencies and Mobile Life will be on standby for more serious emergencies.
Can I make reservations for the concerts?
The entire music series is free and open to the public and there will be no reservations or tickets available.
Is seating available?
No chairs are available for sale or rent. The audience may sit/stand on the grass or boardwalk, but you must bring your own lawn chairs or blankets.
What if it rains?
In the event of inclement weather, the concerts will be held at the same location under a tent. if weather becomes severe the show will be cancelled.
Do you help concertgoers with booking hotels and making reservations?
Visit Orange County Tourism for nearby hotels We anticipate the Newburgh Jazz Series will be very popular and expect a high demand for hotel rooms. We advise making reservations as soon as possible.
Is there anything else to do in the area?
The Newburgh waterfront and other points in the City of Newburgh has many excellent restaurants.
